Suddenly Innerground finds itself at Release 101… no one in their right mind would relegate this EP to Room 101!

We are ecstatic to welcome Universal Project & Taelimb into the Innerground family with INN101 – Mouse Trap EP. This beautifully crafted three-track EP features tracks ‘Mouse Trap’, ‘Lemongrass’ & 'Lose Control'.

Universal Project has become a household name within the scene, with releases spanning the past 21 years and becoming known for his trademark futuristic sound. Taelimb continues to a make a steady impact on D & B since his first release in 2013. With an emphasis on super clean percussion and creating darker atmospheres, all highlighted in his tracks.

‘Mouse Trap' kicks things off with some of that dark energy, which continues throughout. Intense choppy breaks and rapid hats merge seamlessly with morphing drones to provide an immersive listening experience.

‘Lemongrass’ arrives in hot as the second instalment. Eerie and unruly pads sway beneath metallic glitchy drums to make for a guaranteed party starter.

'Lose Control' completes the EP with a monster track. We’re taken on a new path with futuristic, enchanting vocal chops layered with saxophone leads, over rumbling basslines. Sharp and boisterous breaks encapsulate this track to round off an immense EP.
